I have been looking in all the craft stores for an unpainted, wooden table and chair for my son for Christmas and no luck. Online- the painted ones are so expensive and I want to do it myself. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.

I got ours at IKEA. A table and 2 chairs. I think it was maybe $20 a few years ago....

Hobby Lobby has unfinished wood items. Don't know if they have anything of size (tables and chairs) but they may even have some finished furniture on clearance. Ck their ad: http://www.hobbylobby.com/site3/weekly/weekly.cfm for specials and their 40% off coupon.(i see "furniture" is 30% off thru Sat.)

Ikea- if they won't ship it online call your closest store. Joann fabrics sometimes has these as does Michaels but I bet you have already checked there;)
