Posted - Aug 11 2005 : 09:59:27 AM I got a Singer SB/150 knitting machine junking in Germany.
It is just the machine but it does appear to have all the needles but no carriage or claw weights/instructions.
I would like to find instructions/weights/carriage/stand/parts.
Any ideas?
Thanks so much,
Holly

Posted - Feb 20 2006 : 6:41:18 PM Sorry I am just looking back over older posts - my goodness I didn't realize how many topics there are in this section!
Anyway, YES, there is another machine knitter here (I haven't gone through all 17 pages yet! so sorry if this is a duplicate)
You might want to sign up for the machine-knit email list at http://www.machine-knit.com. I get about 5-20 emails a day from about 1500 fellow machine-knitters who have everything from Singer, Passap, White, Silver Reed, Artisan, Brother, and even Bond knitting machines. Not all the emails are of interest to me but many are. The list is moderated and the ladies (mostly) are very strict about staying on topic!
I have Brother knitting machines, sorry don't know a lot about your brand, but if I can help I will certainly try. A lot of techniques are similar from one machine to the next but if you need info on repairs or equipment the list would be a better source.

Posted - Aug 27 2005 : 11:44:24 PM Holly, there is an excellent yahoo group called Knittingmachines that you should join to meet an excellent, active group of machine knitters who will point you in the right direction. I have always found answers there. I am a new machine knitter myself. Annie. |

Posted - Aug 13 2005 : 6:49:00 PM I did some searches, was coming up pretty blank. I found http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=Singer++150+knitting+machine+carriage&hl=en&lr=&sa=N&tab=ff&oi=froogler http://www.fossplus.com/Pages/what_fits_what.htm This is about all. I sold my knitting machine about 8 years ago, so I'm not going to be much help. Sorry, KarenP
