Posted - Nov 28 2007 : 7:13:11 PM Woven wool is felted and knitted wool is fulled by dramatic change in temperature & heavy agitation. A hot wash, cold rinse, in your machine should do the trick. Add as little water as you can get away with (and still let the fabric move freely) and use the heavy duty cyle (for heaviest agitation). Don't use fabric softeners. Dry wool in a hot dryer with an old towel or two to cut down on wrinkles. Use 100% (or very close to that) wool for best results.
