Do any of you ladies know where I could purchase little pewter or silver sewing accessories like needle cases, and embroidery scissors that have necklace chains so they are easy to keep handy?

There are lots of special sewing and quilting gift items at Keepsake Quilting, here's their link:

Hope this helps,

I see them at the smaller high end quilting shops. The little shops seem to have all kinds of cute things nobody can live without.

Michael's usually has some fancy ones, don't know if they are pewter or not.

Jodi,

Here are 2 places that you will be able to find the supplies you are looking for. Also, if you Google "embroidery supplies" or "heirloom sewing", you will find others.

have you tried Joanne's Fabrics yet? They have some unique things there.
