Posted - Nov 13 2007 : 5:57:41 PM Ronna just sent me the most beautiful tablecloths and napkins to use for embroidery!! The quality is outrageous (some are made in Germany--my dh's fatherland!!) Actually, they are lovely enough to just use as is, but I have some very delicate embroidery patterns that I will use for them. Thanks, Ronna!!
P.S. I made bread yesterday with the sourdough starter that Ronna sent me last winter. It is still going strong and being used regularly. |

Nora has been wearing the cold weather gear you sent- Thanks so much! The white one makes her look like a Michelan tire commercial- but oh so cute!!

Posted - Nov 14 2007 : 07:01:11 AM it is great starter..I sent some home with my mother in law a while back..so some of it now resides in Thomasville,Ga. too.:0) I still have mine and use it often. My crew loves the bread I make from it.

Posted - Nov 13 2007 : 9:32:20 PM What I didn't tell Sheryl-lyn is that the tablecloth had a very old $45 price tag on it and the thrift shop decided to charge me $2 for it..I'm guessing was 50's vintage and never used. I knew someone would love and appreciate it someday and think it went to the right home! So happy to know the sourdough starter is still making good bread. Latest shipment was to Oklahoma and they're happy with it too. Thanks to Jo, it's the Iditarod starter :) Ronna |
