One of the girls said I should fill those little bags I made with cinnamon. Would that be regular cinnamon from the spice jar, like for baking? Or is there a special blend you use?
Not to smart in NY.

Thankyou Judy, Now I feel all full of myself. I bought the only two cans of the mulling spices that they had. I guess they aren't sold all year then? Better get more then if I see them about.

Oh, Nancy Jo, the mulling spices are a brilliant idea! The blending is already done for you. And the muslin bags with their decorations are adorable, as are the embroidered bags. And you can usually find mulling spices on sale after Christmas too. Thanks for this wonderful idea. You're sooooo creative!

Unless you line your beautiful little bags, use stick cinnamon. Great Idea!

I'd put whole sticks that were crushed abit. Plus whole cloves etc.
The powders will sift through and eventually stain your fabric.

I filled small bags with a blend of cinnamon, ginger, clove, and allspice. Smelled so good, my mom had them all over her house.
