Okay girls I will take the lead here. Let's start with charm squares exchange.
The group I quilt with uses a 6" square,so let's go with that.
Anyone who wants to participate, email me with your name, address and what color preference if any, and I will form a list and mail it out.
We could also include a button with the 6" square, that might make a cute keepsake quilt of just 6 inch squares with buttons sewn in the middle.
How does that sound? We will start talking 12 block exchange later on...Diane

hey there Diane the fabuous femm, I tried to email ya but it came back to me so I'll post it here: Diane, just wanted to say thanks for the charm squares. I haven't gotten a bundle in a while. It's always nice to receive a package from a farmgirl. I love the fabric too. I saw that sock monkey fabric at the store and was thinking of making a blanket from it from my new nefew, it's just so cute. And the Paris fabric, oh my! Thanks so much. Blessings, Melissa

Got some great squares from Blueapple yesterday. I make a quilt top out of the squares I had as it looked like I wasn't going to get anymore. Surprise!! I have enough to make a crib size quilt. As I hope to soon be a g'ma, it will be a good thing to have on hand. I will be tying my big quilt tonight. Everytime my husband sees it he asks if it is for him. He is out of luck!!

Hi girls! Don't give up on me, I'm going to be working on completing my mailings this month.Thank you to everyone who sent kind notes and emails after the accident, I am getting back to my usual level of activity slower than expected . I have also taken on caring for a 9 week old little boy rather unexpectedly but he is a joy and has added so much to our family already. Fear not everyone who was on my list will still get something ...I am just SLOW! Hope the new year finds you all well, our computer is still down so I check in randomly. See ya soon , I hope!

I completely understand how backed up we all can get and I wasn't pushing anyone to send out squares, I was just wondering so I know to finish the quilt or to hang on, hard to do with all this lovely material sitting about. Thanks Bridge, no pressure!

Thanks, Kate ~ I think I sent all mine out, but if I missed anybody on the list, please let me know. Also, is anyone interested in some fabric which I will send for postage? Some big pieces (a beautiful 2-3 yards of tan corderoy, for one) and a lot of smaller pieces I have been saving to do "something" with. Now I'm tired of looking at it all and need the space. Let me know if you want any. I'll probably post this in "sewing room" too.

If anyone needs a list I can send them one as well. I haven't made any changes or sent out a new list since the 24th of Oct. When new gals have been signing up I've been slowly starting a new list so the old one doesn't get to big. Let me know if you need anything else!! Have a wonderful Day!!~Kate
