Our Dear Sweetie Carol Sue sent me a whole Patch of Pumpkin's a while back.. she had several varieties!!
Well i've finally pieced together my Throw JUST in Time For Halloween!
Here's the end result!!

Shirley, it was an exchange I did with some quilt buddies, we just made them up as we went along. If you want I could try and draw them out and get them to you. It might take me a bit but it is doable. Let me know.

Hey, I just sent her the blocks, she did the work, going around those puppies is no easy feat, I have less than half of mine done, LOL maybe next year.....I am in love with that plaid Miss Kathie, that is so way cool, yep dating myself.

well since you mentioned depends and snaps i can give you the official low down nitty gritty of it. while working for the diaper service i also had to fold some of the reusable ones and they have snaps and look like GIANT diapers. you girls are a crack up.

ROFLMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Depends, snaps zippers, your girls.... my sides hurt from laughing so hard......
Quilt retreat was grand, yep chocolate cholate and more chocolate, food, laughter, no sleep and just plain fun.

I just love that the quilt is a combined effort of two farmgirls. It's a great Halloween quilt. What fun pumpkin blocks, they just make you smile. Love that Carol Sue, she is so sweet!!

i Like the idea of Snaps!!
Since at your age old girl.. you probably won't really be able to keep up the all those buyttons on your own.. Snaps will be REALLY super easy for those that have to help you!!

ok gals it was a block swap with a quilt group and i participated with mom. so she made all the same block and hers is the bottom left one on the finished quilt. I gave mom all of my blocks a long time ago and so there shall be no tiff about who keeps it. sorry miss beverly(nice try though). an applique quilt is really easy and fun too all the pumkins were thought up and made by hand. so kathie enjoy your quilt made with lots of love my favorite has always been the cat popping out of the pumkin. Carol sue will be here to comment on it tommorrow she is currently at a quilt retreat with her quilt group she left yesterday and is probably having tons of fun as we speak. IdEA we should have a mjf quilt retreat for those that want to do it.

I LOVE Halloween!! My ALL time ABSOLUTE Favorite Holiday!
I Love everything about it! & everything that comes with it.. probably more then anything.. the Fall!!!!
Carol Sue had sent me 13 blocks.. she DID applique all the pieces on each block.. i think with like a Fusible webbing..(?) i am REALLY Guessing here.. because I am NOT a Quilter..! So wehn she sent them to me.. i KNEW that wehn i washed them.. they'd all start peeling off.. at least I thought they would anyway.. SOOOO.. I STITCHED EACH & EVERY SINGLE TEENY DANG PEICE on to it's block again!
ok.. calm down.. i did it with the sewing machine.. I DON'T have the patience to do that on hand stitching are you kidding.. you know how high strung i am.. i'd end up throwing it somewhere!
BUT look at it..i MEAN EVERY teeny piece.. Even things like the eyes on the jack-o-lanterns.. & all those stems.. & Stars.. & leaves.. I MEAn all of it is Stitched down!! So THEN... i pieced them all together.. with my Strips!!
Awful purty.. huh!
But.. like I said.. My Girl Carol Sue Did all the work..I just tacked them together!!
