Posted - Oct 03 2007 : 5:43:06 PM Just wondering if anyone has an easy way to tell if a fabric is 100% cotton? When I get fabrics from yard sales, as gifts, etc. I don't know how to tell whether or not it is "all cotton" other than just guessing! I'm figuring that there's a more reliable way to do it-any suggestions? Thanks- Audrina |

Here's a link to read about doing the "burn test" to determine fiber content.

Hope this helps,
