Posted - Sep 28 2007 : 06:56:33 AM Now I must do several, this was fun and easy and heaven knows there will be tons of leaves to play with. Not today, its pouring out, but soon. I posted pictures of course. Also of two books, the one from Rhonda, love the ribbon,, and I ordered an ALTERED BOOK from Bev a while back and I keep that out too. That looks like it would be so much fun to do. Maybe a winter project for me to try, I know I love the way Bev's came out. APRONS AND ALTERED BOOKS among Bev's many other talents. NANCY JO

Posted - Sep 28 2007 : 11:05:48 AM Great job again Nancy! you are so very creative. I used to take the fall leaves and spray them with a shellac stuff, can't remember the name right now, and it would save the colors and the leaves would not deteriorate further. i like the displays and the price of the yarn is to die for. Do they sell it normally for that or was it a special? I still would love to have you join us just cause I love your creativeness and company! Hugs, Pauline

Posted - Sep 28 2007 : 10:16:26 AM Nancy Jo, the leaves are beautifully gilded, bravo! And Mary Beth, wouldn't those red leaves look beautiful gilded with flecks of gold or silver or even copper? And please dive into the altered books project, and teach us (me)! I would love to have some guidance from somebody. Hugs, Nance |

Posted - Sep 28 2007 : 07:30:44 AM Very glittery. The maples are turning red here as are the dogwoods. I bet it will be a pretty fall everywhere.
