saw this on a friend's BLOG and wanted to share it:
Did you know that this is National Sewing month. Did you also know that in 1988 President Ronald Regan made it a Proclamation . I think that says a lot that he thought it was important enough to give sewing recognition.
GOOGLE: The Home Sewing Association ... for a lot of great sewing info, tips, free patterns, a peek into others sewing rooms and more.

I celebrated today by taking a fistful of coupons & heading to the fabric store. I'm stitching up new laundry bags out of old fashion pillow ticking...how exciting is that?
I did manage to find a few fun things while shopping too.
