Ladies...I have to tell you that I spent a weekend with one of the most talented and interesting people I know. I was blessed to be able to attend the Retreat in Jabez Kentucky with none other than Miz Frannie of Cabin Creek, Kentucky aka Freedom Valley. We I arrived on Friday the room was dressed for a teaparty and the make do kits were a plenty. Meeting new friends is always fun and Frannie sure made all feel welcome. Saturday we made precious ragdolls, laughed, giggled and shared stories. If you ever get a chance to meet or be anywhere near this sweet lady, please allow yourself that priviledge. I love listening to her storytelling and her adventures and not to mention her dollies are the best! I am dropping my $$ in the mail tomorrow, not to miss the October gathering at her home. Any excuse will work for me to be able to learn from her. I look forward to another sweet memory!

Hello,
My hubby and I dropped in on Frannie this summer during our vacation. She and her hubby are the greatest. Frannie was not home and really did not know we would be stopping by but her husband made us feel so welcome until she returned from town. She is SOOOOOO wonderful, talented and friendly. She made us feel so at home and their home is beautiful. If you ever get the chance to visit her you will be welcomed and feel right at home. I hope to someday make the trip back. Only wish Wisconsin was not so far from Kentucky.

Pray for our troops to come home safe and soon.
Enjoying the road to the simple life :>)

Robin - I live in Louisville, too. Maybe we could carpool to Frannie's? I live in the J-Town neighborhood of Louisville!
