Can some one tellme what is a good size knitting needle is used when making lace. My yarn company doesn't say. Thanks,

Giovonnia, what yarn or thread are you using? Is it a thin laceweight? Does it give wraps per inch or yards per pound?

If I know that, maybe I can point you in the right direction. Otherwise, swatch, swatch, swatch, block, block, block! Until you get a result you're happy with! I can send you a simple lace pattern to use for swatching to test out different sizes if you want.

It depends on what you're making it out of - what size thread. I know some people use the tiny 0 or 00 for lace making. Not me!!
