Thanks so much for your fabulous thank you...you did not need to do that!!! So..I open my mailbox today and out wafts the smell o lavendar!!! SO, before I even look in...I just know there has to be something from Grace inside...and there was!!!! First of all...my daughter has been on me to get her some more farmgirl mail...and Grace she really loves the cute little fob..how unusual..she love love loves it!!! Girls..you should see this little decorative end of a spoon, with a hole in it and beaded danglies...and a clip to attach it to something. Carmen just loves it!!! And for me a nice smelling baggie of lavendar!!! Now my sewing can smell like Graces! And a really cool box with some very fun textured envelopes!! Oh...and some fabulous decorated Clothespins!! a naked clothespin these days is so unsightly... anyway..I just wanted to say thanks grace, and i hope you are settling in your new house and having a ball with your family this weekend!!...jess

Ok, finally found my Josh Grobin CD's, got my tea steeping and I am almost ready to "go to my room" LOL!
I buy misc. spoons & forks @ the thrift stores usually for 25-50 cents. Them my hubby goes to his workshop & cuts them down for me & drills them & I get to decorated them.
I am thinking of adding 4 to a candle drip gaurd, can't think of the correct name, it's a little glass thing that you slide over your candle (begins w/the letter B) I have seen them in Hallmark & candle stores. They are a decrative element that catches candle drips. I have seen some w/ little beads dangling, so I thought why not use these little spoon ends as a decrartive element.
If I ever get around to it, I will be sure to take a photo & post it. ** Reminder to self,** "SELF" add yet another craft project to your ever growing list!) LOL!

I am, and glad you & Carmen enjoyed the little "thank-yous".
I had my DH cut & drill the spoon handle. It is just sort of a "use it as you wish" fob. It can even be hung on a chain as a necklace.
It is such a lovely day, lightly raining off & on, a perfecct day for sewing, which I will be doing in about an hour.
DH is working on some graphic's so I will make myself a pot of tea & head on down to my sewing room & get busy sewing. But first I have to find my Josh Grobin CD's for my relaxing music.
Blessings & have a wonderful day.
hugz,
