Posted - Aug 13 2007 : 6:12:49 PM I have now done over 300 yo-yo'a since July 30 and it you all's fault I have become so addicted. I have pined togeter 16 sets of 9 to make 144 of one color combination and realize i need at least 3 times that for a quilt. since i problably wont find the exact fabrics I guess I'll have to go with either a whole new 9 set of sim colors or do 9 sets of solid creams and pinks. I will post on my blog what they will look like.

Posted - Aug 14 2007 : 12:26:11 AM I just started yo-yoing (is that a word?) and I love it. I am almost finshed with mine for the swap and I am going to continue using my scrap fabric to make them. They are a lot easier than I thought now that I have the hang of it. My husband thinks that is all I do lately is "sew those little round things". I'm sure he will like it once he sees them made into something.

Posted - Aug 13 2007 : 9:25:19 PM I'm addicted too! Since sending in 100 for the swap last week, I have made about 150 more. I have fabric cut out for probably another 200. I am going to make my two boys and my niece yoyo clowns for Christmas. I would also like to make a yoyo quilt at some point in the future. |

Posted - Aug 13 2007 : 8:20:08 PM am I supposed to feel sad I think I am in need of rehab if you have an addiction to yoyos as I have a quilt for a doll bed with over 800 mini yoyos ( quarter size) I am making with one I just finished for suzyhomeker with over 200 in it and another I am making for my daughter with over 1000 cd size ones in it. Then a few other doilies around the house AI have made for chairs and tables and a st patricks day garland made out of them too.
have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe my bloghttp://sunshinescreations.vintagethreads.com/ my web store http://vintagethreads.com/ |

Posted - Aug 13 2007 : 6:20:13 PM ROFL.....oh the things we get addicted too, aren't these just so very hard to put down. You can see results for one quickly, I think that is part of the allure. But so much fun. Still laughing.....
