Are there any Farmgirls on Ravelry yet? I just got in this weekend and am already having so much fun with it. I can't wait to get all of my projects and stash listed so I can start really using it with other knitters around the world.

If you knit and you don't know what Ravelry is yet, take a look here and click on the link for the tour. (http://www.ravelry.com) It's still in the Beta mode which means that you have to sign up for an invitation to join (FREE), but they're now plugging away and inviting around 1,200 people a week. I had to wait about two months for my invitation, but I think it's going faster now. And as far as I can tell, it's totally worth it!

If there are enough MJF Farmgirls on Ravelry, we should totally set up a group over there. Let me know if you're in yet!

I'm on Ravelry, although I don't remember to log in very often! MissEgon is my username.

Sherri...go to the very bottom of the page and click on "About Ravelry". This looks like it could be a great site Catherine.

I looked at the site, but I wasn't quite sure what it was. Does it have patterns or a forum, or what? Of course, I looked at it last night around midnight, so it's entirely possible that the whole thing went entirely over my head in my sleepy stupor!

I hear you, Kathy! I would always rather knit than spend hours staring at a screen. I'm not sure how much I'll categorize on Ravelry, but I do love the idea of being able to tap into other knitters' knowledge and click on patterns to see who else has done them, etc. Ravelry itself is a work in progress - it will be fun to see how it develops!

I'm in, but haven't set anything up yet. I just need time. Maybe a quick tutorial so I can get started and break it down into pieces. I've been knitting/crocheting/spinning for soooo many years and I have soooo much "stash" in all categories that it seems overwhelming for me to get it all inventoried and set down in one place. Work in progress--ha, I can't even go there! I don't have much of a pictoral history of completed projects, but I've done so many, and have them "in my mind". I'd like to use it, but just need a kick in the pants!! Maybe this is it! I also spend most of the day on the computer, so spending hours more at night is sometimes difficult at best--I'd rather be knitting!

Well, I signed up and there are only 15,169 people in front of me! It looks really cool. Not sure I totally get how it all works yet but I'm excited for my invite!
