Posted - Aug 05 2007 : 06:52:55 AM There is such a variety of colors...I do not think any will clash...lots of greens and pinks have started to gather...along with several yellows and blues...and reds...actually it is a great spread of colors...and wide variety of block choices. |

Posted - Aug 04 2007 : 11:13:12 PM Haha, no she isnt a farmgirl on here...I havent yet started that durn quilt...But...I am going to this coming week, really...I will...haha....I'm certainly going to try..I am proud of myself though, even if I havent started projects that I've planned on starting, I've sewn two small coin purses, finished a doll Thursday night, and fixed up a skirt that has been in my to-do pile since...early spring/late winter....haha...shortened it, took it from a size 16 to a 10(caught it on sale 4.99...regular $45..you bet i snapped it up, you could hardly buy the fabric that cheap....hehe), and added a bit of lace to the bottom..I'll try to post a picture to my blog soon(which btw, I've been pretty good at keeping up)... And yes, I do like to have pictures of all my sewing projects...helps me when i look back, I can say..."Wow...I have improved" haha cant wait to see any other blocks...hehe
oh..and just a note..that trim on the edges, was not in the original block pattern...squares came out a bit smaller then the pattern said...so I had to enlarge it so they'd actually fit the required space...I dont think it came out to bad...though really, I do hope they dont clash to badly with the other squares... ~Naomi~

Posted - Aug 04 2007 : 5:20:30 PM Jess.. go ahead & post the ones that YOU have.. I think that would be a great idea.. & if you remember who made each one too.. include their name's.. i don't think they really wanted to be anonymous.. just can't say who they are for.. right?
Sounds like a plan!
