I have been so busy with my garden, riding my bike and my new man...my projects are all at a standstill! This is a first for me in the past no matter what I had going on I have always squeezed in a stitch here and there. Now the aprons I started are in a pile...haven't done a bit of embroidery in at least 3 weeks. Oh, and then there are the pillowcases for the Oct swap I planned to get a head start on. At least get the cases stitched up....yeah!

Anyone else ever have periods when for whatever reason you just don't sew or craft at all???

Summer is a distraction from inside stuff anyway. Enjoy your new interests, and teh rest will be waiting for you on the first rainy day.

Maryann,
It is just normal life, you will do more again, but enjoy the time you are having, especially with that guy you are checking out. That my dear would be a very good distraction.....

That happens to us all, I think. Hey, sounds like you have great reasons for being distracted, so just go with it and enjoy it. Hope all is well with you and that the summer is all you hoped it would be!

Yes, I have times where I get busy and just can't get the time so I have to wait for a lull in things before I can settle in to working on something. I thought it would be that way when the grandchildren came but I am still doing some things. I just have been doing them while watching a movie or while naps are going on. Housework might fizzle a little but that is always there, right?
