Thank you Nancy Jo, I do meet a lot. I think everyone has the opportunity to do what I do it's just whether they decide to do it. What I do is very simple, no one even has to knit they can buy it at garage sales (The babies & kids don't mind)slightly used, or buy items on sale for $5.00 or donate monetarily, but everyone can do something and it doesn't even have to include clothes it can be school supplies, shoes, memory boxes (scrap bookers?) they can make, or anything else..
There I go again, always in recruiting mode!! LOL

What a wonderful thing you are doing for these children. Your little oufit is so cute. I love the white too. You said you meet a lot of interesting people, I bet you do. The world needs more people like you that care so much.

No problem, I would love to see how someone else who works the pattern. It is so easily adjustable and I have done variables of it. I plan on posting them on my blog in a bit. Just go cazy girl.

I have 8 of them complete along with as many sweaters. I love making these for the babies and the best part is that for every gown/dress I make it is free to the reciever. To me it makes it all worth doing. I pray I can keep doing more and help these little guys..

Ah, I enjoy the knitting and am trying to learn to crochet. This is the first gown/dress I have ever done and I created it. I have several others but have to get picture's. I will be putting them on a slide show in my blog I will be updating listed on here. I had it so long I forgot I had a blog and found I even have two!!
Anyway, I hope to do lots more and sometime would love to do a contest here with them like they did the aprons and yo yo's!! Maybe donate them all to charity.
