Missy & got an invite from Pomeroy Living History Farm to be vendors at their Pumpkin Festival the first weekend in October. This is the most amazing farm -- still has the old house you can tour, a tea room, old outbuildings, etc. In the fall there are hay rides, pumpkin patch, apple cider press, and lots of fun stuff to do. We were actually supposed do the Herb Festival in May but Missy got sick. So, even though it's supposed to be 100 next week, I'm crafting for Fall. For once I won't be making stuff at the last minute. Fall is my favorite time of year so this is going to be so much fun. I have all kinds of ideas running through my head.

Kay I must have been having a "duh" moment because after I asked you when the festival was I noticed that you said the first week of October. It's been a very long tough day.!!! I have marked that weekend on the calendar and will be doing my best to get there.

The Pomeroy Farm is in Amboy, WA which is just north of Battle Ground where Missy lives. It is a cool place to visit all the time but really neat when they have their festivals. They have all kinds of demonstrations -- apple pressing, a blacksmith, etc. Plus they have bluegrass music groups that sing from the front porch of the old farmhouse. Kathy -- it would be so wonderful if you could come.

Oh, how wonderful that sounds!! How lucky you are. I know, with the heat going on it's hard to be thinking of making thinks for fall/winter. The knitting has been put away for a long time now cause it's just too hot. Do post pics when the time comes and what you've made. Will be fun seeing it all.

Enjoy.

Kay When is this festival? We are in Moses Lake and it would be alot of fun to check this out. My husband is a photographer and I am sure he could find some wonderful things to photograph there.
