Posted - Jul 03 2007 : 11:23:36 PM Mima -- glad to see you back. I can relate to what you're going through. I'm a totally shabby chic/cottage type of person. Pink is my favorite color, roses my favorite flower. However, I'm slowly being won over to the dark side -- the dark colors of prim, that is! I got the cutest free pattern today for making watermelon slices and crow bowl fillers. Can't wait to do them because I get to paint on fabric. Just google primitive crafts or patterns and you'll come up with all kinds of sites. One of my favorites is www.patternmart.com. They have a free online crafting magazine that comes out every other month. It always includes two free pattern downloads -- that's where I got my free pattern today. And the site has loads of pattern for all kinds of prim crafts at very resonable prices.

Also, if you go on Ebay and do a search for primitive recipes some good stuff will come up. Tina is right, Frannie has been giving some good stuff. I can forward it if you want me to. Merle
