Hi, yes the birds are made from paper mache(a paper powder that you mold and shape like clay) that is then hand painted and embellished with tiny snips of paper that match the birdhouse.It was alot of fun to do, but time consuming.I'm not sure how many of them I'll wind up creating as it takes a little while.
