Here are a couple of skirts from the pattern "Cute Skirts" by Favorite Things Pattern Designs. I bought this pattern last year through Hancock's of Paducah catalog, and I finally got it made now. The green one is a repro retro print left over form the bloomers under Little Girl things. The other is a Heather Bailey "Freshcut" fabric line piece. I lengthened the skirt panel piece to cover my compression hose. I think I want to add a contrast small ruffle to this pink one when I come back from camping.

You look really good in your outfits. The tops you chose go perfect with your pretty skirts. And I love the expression on your little guy. What a cutie!

Thank you for all the nice comments, ladies. Yes, it is always good to have a face for a person. So, next time you post, post a picture of yourself with your item or wearing it. I want to see all of you, too!!

About this skirt pattern, it is easy enough for even a BEGINNER as it has just a facing for the front and elastic through th back. You get a perfect fit yet it looks smooth on the front. I used my serger to finish the seams, the second one went so fast as it did not have the flounce on the bottom.

There is something so nice about wearing a breezy skirt in the warm weather. It is finally warm enough to do that here in NE PA

I love the skirts, you did a great job. Your little man is sweet, he reminds me of a little boy in my Sunday School class who calls me Miss Teacher. My daughter wants me to attempt to make us some skirts. Maybe sometime I will, but you should be so proud of yourself because they look so nice.
