Posted - Jun 07 2007 : 06:45:07 AM I have always wanted to make homemade soap but have never have out of fear I guess. The recent discussion on here about making soap has rekindled my interest. A few years ago I bought a book titled "Essentially Soap" by Dr. Robert S. McDaniel. Are any of you familiar with it and can his directions or recipes be trusted? Kathy

Posted - Jun 07 2007 : 10:07:52 PM I belong to more than a few soap forums... http://www.soapdishforum.com/ is a really good one with alot of soap information, supplier reviews and co-ops. The other ones there is a lot less soap chat, because we all have busineses and have been making soap for so long we talk about everything else at this point... like sewing and our kids.

Posted - Jun 07 2007 : 4:27:03 PM I started with Miller Soap's site too, and have found it quite informative. Although I've frequented a lot of soap-related sites and forums, I always seem to return to Miller Soap.
