Posted - Jun 05 2007 : 4:25:46 PM Hi all, I bought a few 100% wool sweaters at a yard sale on Saturday and was wondering: do I make my item first and then wash in hot water and shrink, or do I shrink first and then cut out and sew my item??? I can't remember and I've been trying to google for info. Any help will be great. Thanks!!!!!

Posted - Jun 05 2007 : 5:10:59 PM Debbie, you better felt it first or you will have a very tiny what ever you make!!! It will shrink a great deal. It is really wonderful to work with because after it's felted it won't fray and you don't have to finish any of your seams.
Good luck and let us know what you end up making! Cindy |
