Has anyone attempted the croched hexagon scarf in MJ's new book? It's the green one made of size 20 crochet cotton shown on page 75. I had a really hard time finding any crochet cotton in size 20, then when I did, all they offered was white and ecru. I went ahead and bought the ecru but LORDY is that small thread!! I love the pattern and the look of the scarf, but I'd like it in a color. Has anyone seen the size 20 in a color? Does anyone have an idea of how to adapt the pattern to size 10? That's available everywhere and it would be SO much easier to work with!

Thanks for all your help! I will peruse those sites when I finish my practice ecru scarf. I was so pumped up about the project I HAD to buy the supplies on the way home from the bookstore because I NEEDED to start it IMMEDATELY after I got home!! Can any of you relate?

Here's what a quick google search revealed:

http://www.herrschners.com/products/product.aspx?sku=700169&id=716&tab=

I especially like the colors at herrschners, and they are a well known catalog supplier.

Good luck, Sherri!
