Posted - May 14 2007 : 10:06:08 AM Well what a wonderful day I spent wandering around the Shepherds Harvest last Saturday. I had hoped to see a few Urban Farmgals there but oh well- next time! Thought I'd share a few photos of the day. I so want to learn to spin after watching all the ladies doing demonstrations.

Posted - May 14 2007 : 4:36:54 PM (Speaking of spinning...do you have any fleece yet? Maybe the spinning members of the Urban Farmgirls should venture out to your farm some weekend soon for a spinning lesson? I've got a whole sheep fleece to deal with...needs to be cleaned, carded and spun. It's already spoken for to be made into two sweaters for Rebecca and me, but I know where we can get more fleece if you haven't got any. Let's talk!!!)

Posted - May 14 2007 : 4:34:40 PM I was there! I'm so sorry I missed you, Beth! My long list of excuses include my cell phone dying and my constant balance of "gotta buy this/find the perfect yarn, but wait - are my son and husband totally bored yet and where are they anyway? shoot, the phone is dead!" That and the fact that I had to get home to get ready for a party for 60 people in my house the next morning after the Race for the Cure. I was a stress pot.
But there were five other Urban Farmgirls there too! We kept bumping into each other and showing off our yarn purchases. So fun.
I'll post photos of my loot later on my blog. Sorry we missed each other again! There must be another festival this summer where we can meet up?
