Posted - May 13 2007 : 1:13:21 PM Hey, I was just goofing around online (instead of doing the other 10 things I should be doing and I found a great website for vintage/retro/reproduction fabrics including flour sack fabrics. They seem to have a large selection and a greater variety than most of the other websites I've looked at today. Under the patterns button they even had a selection for apron patterns. They also had a 'yo-yo maker' for a faster way to make yo-yo's just like the one's for the projects in the Stitching Room. Sounds like our kind of place.
the website is: http://www.sewmamasew.com

Posted - May 15 2007 : 2:26:13 PM Looks like I should get going on ordering soon :-)
I have my eye on the monkey oilcloth that was 'currently out of stock' and a few other things. I'm so glad that everybody else found things there, too.
Grace, can't wait until the 27th! Amanda http://www.theheadlettuce.blogspot.com

Posted - May 13 2007 : 2:15:09 PM Actually, it was the oilcloth that started this whole thing Another website is Hartsfabric.com (I think that's right) It's Harts Fabric. They have a great selection of fabrics, too, including oil cloth. I've looked at their fabrics for years, but haven't ordered from them yet. There website takes some wading through, but it's worth it. amanda http://www.theheadlettuce.blogspot.com
