OK, so I was just messing around & decided to check out to see if there were any apron pattrens on ebay.....found a fair amount...BUT what I really got excited over is a 'sewing machine cover' pattren. I hit the "Buy it Now" button so hard that I almost broke a nail!!!LOL!
It has 2 cover designs. One cover is made in a Crazy Quilt pattren & the second one is an appliqued fat cat....hmmmmm wonder which one I will make first!!
The seller also sells fabrics suitable for aprons as well as pattrens & shabby chic stuff. She is worth a peek...and go figure, I forgot to get her info for you. But if ya go to ebay & type in "vintage apron pattrens" her's along with others will pop up. She goes by "Rose" and has a lovely site.
Now to sit patiently by the mail box & wait for my pattren to arrive....as if I don't have enough projects going!

M.J.,
You are so lucky to have a little friend(G.D.) to play with....in your trailer no less.
If you are ever out this way (to visit UR mom) let me know, maybe we can do coffee.

THANK YOU bunches Grace! I can visualize every step you wrote! I took a little tote bag in my trailer yesterday filled with thread, neddles, fabric and scissors hoping I would hear from you! Now I am ready to go! Spent somemore time in my little ButtonWillow today with my little 5 year old granddaughter Hailey! I helped her make 2 sachets for her Mommy! I told my DH that Hailey loves my trailer so much, that I will have to give it to her when I am old.....very old because I am having so much fun playing house and going on SOTF outings! We even stocked the ice box filled with snacks for when she is here. I just love MaryJane's Farm & Sisters on the Fly! Don't you? May life has changed forever!!!!! Thanks for sharing MJF with me Grace!

Hugs,
Maryjane

Hey M.J.,
yes I do have a yoyo pattren, but unfortunatly it is packed & in the storage unit till we move....about 80% of my crafting supplies are packed away....I am going through 'withdrawels'.
I think I need the "12-Step Program" for crafting withdrawel"
The yoyo's are really simple to make....I use to make a clown rag doll with yoyo's back in the '70's. I have that pattren, & yes it is in storage too! EEk! I need a craft shopping fix!.
Just cut 4/5 or 6 inch circles (you determin the size & amt.) I pinking shear mine when cutting them out. Then do a simple running stitch about 1/4" from the edge all around, gently pull the thread to draw the cirle together, add some stuffing (you determin how much you want) then pull the thread together some more. Knot off. I sort of flatten my yoyos by slapping my hand together with the yoyo in between my hands. If I recall, the pattren I had, after you made a gazillion yoyos you sewed them together (backsides together to make one reversable yoyo) Then you join all the yoyos together with simple hidden tack stitches. each had 4 sets of tack stitches (think, North/South/East & West) until you get the size quilt you wanted.
Hope this helps somewhat.
I think Daisy Kingdom has some yoyo projects.... or type in Yo-Yo craft projects in good old Goggle.....there has to be something out there.

Grace, you make me laugh!!!!!! I LoVe eBay tooooooooo! I have one of those darling sewing machine covers that I bought years ago in Oak Glen near Yucaipa, CA. It is always on my sewing machine when I am not using it! Do you happen to have any patterns on how to make fabric Yo Yo's? (the ones for quilts, etc)? Saw some on eBay but thought I would put a "shout" out there! Hugs, Maryjane

The first and last apron I made was in 8th grade home-ec class, lol. I love aprons but only have a couple and their in bad shape so I dont try to use them. They are so lady like, I'll have to see if I can find some vintage aprons somewhere.

Aha!, now I know what NC WA stands for.
I had packed all my pattrens & put them in storage along with most of my craft supplies....dumb, dumb, dumb...now I have to buy more crafting supplies, oh wait...what's wrong with that!!! lol!
I can hardly wait to move up to Spokane so I can unpack all my stuff & get down to some serious crafting again.....

North Central, WA, but the north corner of Wa is nice too! I won't bid against you. I have enough apron patterns to last forever.
