Also anyone else increasing their food storage? I am buying more canned goods and dried item (beans etc) right now to boost my stash. I also hadn’t been able to garden the past couple of years but am doing it this year with the idea of canning quite a bit.

Posted - Dec 06 2022 : 4:01:25 PM Hi Alee. I have been trying to increase my food storage a little at a time. A local farm orders in bulk so I order through them. Over the last year or so I have purchased dry beans, sugar, rice, soup base (granulated), baking soda, lentils, split peas, cranberries. For root vegetables, I know carrots can be stored in sand but I'm not sure what else is stored that way.
