Posted - Jan 28 2012 : 10:58:49 PM Hi Sisters, I am completely wowed! It is great to be awestruck like this over a resource, especially internet based. I found an great Nature website. I was doing some web surfing trying to identify a bird I had taken a photo of and discovered an amazing nature website. Not only can you identify birds, but it has a Nature Finder Zipcode search and other ways to search for info, to include "ask an expert" tool. It has information on other nature in addition to birds. It tells you about plants, animals, poisonous, endangered, etc. It even can help you identify animal paw prints you see. It shows regions, migrations, what to plant... just so much info. I actually was able to identify my bird when other major bird websites came up empty. This site is extensive and has many layers to it. What a source of information for necessity, curiousity, hobbie, and education. I will use it often. I am so impressed I had to share it with you. http://www.eNature.com Have fun with this one. It is a remarkable tool. Good Days to You! Farmgirl Sister #3655

Posted - Feb 09 2012 : 07:21:30 AM Thanks for the great link Annie. The wildflowers and plants sections will be so useful to me. We have so many wildflowers here I'm always trying to remember their names. I have a dear Uncle who lives in Henderson and always drives his classic restored John Deere tractor in community parades!
