As y'all may know, 2026's Jubilee theme is family recipes. I don't know about your area, but Northern Kentucky is kinda bleak this time of year. It takes effort to keep a positive outlook. This swap will help bring light into your day.
For this swap, you will send your partner a recipe that evokes a fond memory for you. Include an explanation of why you sent it and a small Valentine.

Today I received the package that Karen sent to me. It only took the USPS 12 days from the time it left Spokane, went to Indianapolis, then to Ohio, and then to Dallas, before it was put in my mailbox today. YAY! The inept US postal service again proved how slow they are.
Karen made me some Valentines tags, several fabric hearts, and sent a nice red and white fat quarter that I can use in my quilting. I also love the little pink decorated bags she had the different items in, Thank you, Karen!
They are laying on the 2000 piece puzzle my son's family got us for Christmas that I finished on Sunday. YAY!

Sherry, my hearts arrived today and I love all of the clever and fun things you find of the many tucks!! Plus the story of your pound cake recipe was so touching to me. I can close my eyes and smell the delicious cake and brewing coffee right now! Your Grandmother sounds like such a wonderful and kind person and I know the memories of spending summers with her are priceless. I have a few years of memories of visiting my Grandparents on their old farm. Sadly, their health was failing and so they came to live with us but passed away from stokes and heart failure. But, my Grandma could bake the best homemade cherry pies in her wood burning stove after we kids picked them from the backyard trees and helped. Thank-you for all my heart swap and I also keep all the things you send me too. I Love the vintage vibes!!
My computer refuses to allow me to post photos at MJF and I apologize fro not being able to share with others all my fun goodies!!

I received my pkg from Marcy. Thank you so much. Peanut blossoms are a favorite to make around here, Especially at the holidays. Made some this year with my youngest grandson and he loved doing them. Such cute hearts and thank you too for the journal. Will be putting that to good use!
