Posted - Jan 07 2025 : 07:41:57 AM Do you remember the days of elementary school when you thought for days what kind of valentines box you were going to make. Every empty container or box that came along had the prospect of being that perfect box. Oatmeal containers were coveted, saved heart candy boxes from previous Valentines gifts were dreamed of and in the end each pink and red construction paper covered box was perfect. The perfect vessel to hold all the valentines, hearts and candy you would receive from your classmates.
Let’s make a heart for a special farmgirl valentine. You can make a heart from any medium you choose and send it off with Cupid to its destination. You do not need to include tucks, your farmgirl love is more then enough.
Julie-Connie Diana-Rea Debbie-Kelly Karen-Winnie April-Heather Wanda Sue-Denise Ruthie Ann-Sherry Darlene-Candy Sheila-Julie Sign-ups will go through January 17th. Mail out will be by February 4.

Posted - Jan 18 2025 : 6:29:55 PM Oh Connie that would almost be t-shirt weather for me right now. It is -13.3 real temp at the moment and -43 with wind chill. My quick trip to the chicken coop to pick eggs tonight almost gave me frost bite on my nose. Even the dog didn’t waste time on his potty break.

Posted - Jan 11 2025 : 6:52:36 PM It has been brought to my attention that som of you think you are making a container to hold valentines. That is not what we are swapping.
We are swapping hearts. You need to make a heart out of any medium you choose and send that. I was just reminiscing about valentines boxes. But it does state in the next paragraph that we are swapping hearts.
Hope that clears everything up.
