Hi Farmgirls, I posted today that our Annual Apple Festival here at MJF begins on September 1st. I am hosting an Apple Swap to start off all the fun! This swap can be any thing you think someone might enjoy having as long as it is apple related. There are countless ideas out there so I will let you plan what you would like to do. Keep it simple since postage is costing more these days.
Sign ups will go through Friday September 5th and partners will post September 6th. This way we can get out some apple fun to our partners that can be enjoyed all month.

Hi Julie, I am so sorry the apple mug arrived in pieces! Glad you enjoyed the other parts!
I have been on vacation so my package from Julie was being held by the USPS until our return. It got delivered last night and oh what a wonderful bundle of apple goodies!! My computer refuses to post my photos on this site but I sent one to Julie to post if she can. The apple surprises included an apple garden flag, some homemade crab apple jelly from her crabapple trees, honey from her farm bees, yummy cinnamon apple teas, Apple spice votive candles, two adorable hand crafted cloth apples (one red and one green), Werthers caramel apple candy, and this darling little wooden apple hanging sign that will work perfectly in my kitchen. Julie also made this incredible card that has a fabric apple made from different colors. It is so cute!! Thank-you Julie for so many surprises and fun apple goodies and thank-you for being my swap buddy this year!!

Here's my sweet pkg from Wanda. I received it two days ago but have just been busy and didn't get a chance to post .
She sent me an apple candle, cute little apple s&p shakers, some yummy dried apples and in keeping with our Jubilee theme she sent a little bag of apple shaped buttons. Thank you some much Wanda Sue!

I am so happy the package arrived, even though it was later than oiginally stated by the post office. LOL! I am also glad that you like the tablerunner I made and the other items I included. I made a batch of the cookies and they were very tasty.
I didn't realize you were heading back to Australia so soon.

Yes, your parcel did indeed arrive last night. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. I love your beautiful handmade table runner. It will definitely be coming with us when we move back to Australia. My husband wants me to make the cookies to take to the boys at work. The old recipes will be fun to try & the apple sign will be a lovely decoration for this time of year. I really like the verse "When you stumble make it part of the dance" on the back of the coaster. I will have to post it on the forum. Thanks again for your generosity!!

Your welcome Marlene!I live just about 2 miles from the jones orchard Apple, peach orchard. They can the Jams and jelly on site at the farmstand.It has its own kitchen. It doesn't get any fresher than that!

Thank You Winnie for the wonderful apple package. The little cutting board is so cute, as is the apple pie and scarecrow. A new towel is always appreciated this time of year. The lovely mug couldn’t handle the USPS travels and arrived in several pieces, no worries, it happens. I am finishing up your package and will get it in the mail this week.

I hope your package from me arrived OK. According to the tracking number, it was put in your mailbox yesterday at 7:15 PM. I don’t know if that was 5:15 PM your time and 7:15 PM my time or what. I hope they put it in the right mailbox, and I hope you like what I sent.

I hope you have received your package from me. Tracking says it was delivered in your mailbox at 7:15 pm yesterday, the 16th. It was supposed to be there on Saturday, so the USPO strikes again. The USPS services amaze me - they raise prices and service goes down. LOL!

I got your package today - thank you, Karen!! Such a sweet little card - and I loved the apple wrapping paper :) I love the towel you gave me - as I got one from Winnie today too!! It matches it - yours is more of a towel, and Winnie (different swap) gave more of a tea towel so now they can go side by side! I love the sweet little apple dish too - i think it will be really cute filled with some candy, or on a charcuterie board. Thank you very much, Karen!! Yours will take a wee bit - I'm still finishing up what I'm making, and then it will go in the mail in one or two days :)

I received my package from Cindy in the mail today. So many goodies! Thank you so much!!
Oregon Apple Butter, White Peony and Apple soap (smells wonderful), Apple Pie Chai tea, and a Honey Apple candle. Everything smells so nice. I xan’t wait to taste the apple butter and tea, use the soap, and light the candle.

Yes Denise, I meant to say candles, I forgot. I just can’t get over how realistic they look. The stems are the wicks.

Denise I received my package today, thank you very much for everything. She sent several decor items for my kitchen, a nice chunky note pad, dish towel, and a cute set of mini apples that look absolutely real. Your package should arrive sometime next week, thanks again.
