Yay!!! Have fun everyone :)
I am having a hard time concentrating today because I am just so excited that it’s almost time for the garden. I spent some time yesterday walking around in the garden center, head in the clouds dreaming of the beautiful flowers and veggies in the future, having coffee in the garden, watching the tiny plants grow into something that will feed us, that feeling of exhaustion after a day of hard work in the garden... such an accomplished feeling! I spend all winter just longing to be out tending the garden.
I am not sure if anyone else is with me on this, or if maybe I am just a little crazy (lol), but I thought it might be fun to kick off this year's garden with a swap. My thought is that we will trade garden related items. It can be anything you think your partner might like: something you made, something you grew and want to share seeds from, plant markers, decorative items. Whatever you can think of as long as it is for the garden! Who is with me?

Posted - Apr 22 2024 : 3:43:19 PM Jennifer,I love all my Garden Spring Goodies! Morning Glory is one of my Top 3 favorites! I had not gotten any seeds yet! As soon ad I opened the package my eye caught that hankie, it reminds me of my sweet Granny, she was never with out them in her purse, dress picket or apron pocket! I collect them and Like to make things with them too. The sunflower Buttons are adorable, love the notebook journal! Lily june and I started a new flower bed by her playhouse, so we will use the little journal for our notes. My granddaughter and I paint almost every time she spends the night with us so we will love painting these spring cuties! Posted - Apr 13 2024 : 04:59:29 AM Hi Julie! My goodness, you really spoiled me! I felt like Christmas morning opening my package, thank you so much! I have never seen the soil block making tool and am excited to play with it. The book is absolutely beautiful and I have only had a chance to flip through it, looking forward to sitting down to do some reading. My husband is particularly fond of cosmos in the garden so the seeds you shared from yours will be very much appreciated. I have not tried vertical gardening yet but wanted to try it with cucumbers and zucchini. I cant wait to try all the wonderful after gardening recovery items. Everything is just a wonderful, thank you so much!
Oh! And Emoji of course got the box and found it to be a particularly comfortable design. Lol

Posted - Apr 12 2024 : 2:39:59 PM Thank you Alee. I will opt for the vase so I can enjoy them inside. The summers get so hot here I’m afraid they would melt outside. Added to that is the fact we have no shade since we lost our live oak to disease this year. The roses are so pretty, I would hate for them to melt!

Thank You Joyce for the wonderful garden pampering box. How did you know my hands and nails really suffer during garden season? Everything smells so good.

How wonderful a package from you Vanessa! Thank you for all the seeds! Some escaped from thier envelope but I saved as many as I could! Now to find a place for them in the garden! Ty for the hand cream and gloves! My hubby took my last ones! Thank you for the hummer feeder, the hummers will love having yet another feeder out there! Lol, I spoil them! Thank you for the Apron too. It took a lot of work from you and maybe some day I'll wear it. I'm more of a 511 workpants/workshirt kind of Gardner. But it is pretty cool!! :) May God bless your spring and planting adventures! Ty again!! :)
