Happy 4th of July! Summer is finally here now! Who is ready for the next swap.
This months theme will be... Patriotic, 4th of July, Americana, red, white, and blue.
~Sign ups close July 3 with mail outs right after.
~Please email me your address if you haven't already so I can make a master list to send to everyone.
~You must send a card to each person that signs up, either handmade or store bought.

Darlene, I will just make a new swap for each month for people to sign up. We may or may not have the same people the following month. It all depends on what everyone has going on. Of course you can always send to the same people even if they are not participating that month. That is completely up to you. Just make sure that if you sign up for each month that you include everyone who does sign up that month. So far the August card swap has less people than the July card swap did.

Hi Darlene, I got your card today, I really like the colors in it., thank you. I think I will look at yard sales for a frame for it so I can see it every day. I just love doing these swaps it is nice walking down to my mail box in the morning and wondering what would arrive. I hope everyone is having a great summer and enjoying the sunshine when we get it!

Thanks Krista, we are doing well. Trying to get to places is complicated and takes twice as long, but we are lucky no damage done, we have food in the freezer & pantry.

Sheila, I am so very sorry to hear about all the rain and flooding. I hope you guys are ok and things don't get too damaged. Sending many hugs your way. Please keep us updated.
Darlene, we celebrate Pioneer Day. It's only a Utah thing. It's a celebration for the arrival of the LDS members to Utah. But we are allowed to celebrate it with fireworks. We can only light fireworks for the 4th of July and the 24th. Plus they also do a lot of rodeos to celebrate as well. For as long as I can remember it was never associated with actual church stuff, just more 4th of July kind of celebrating.

My cards went out yesterday, Our state is having major flooding there was no mail on Tuesday because of the Flood but yesterday they picked up. Part of our road is washed away. Our house is did not get any flooding we sit up higher than our neighbor, whose basement flooded.
Darleane, I got your card yesterday, thank you it was a bit of cheer with all this flooding around.
