The summer vacation months are approaching and if you're like me, sometimes you want to go somewhere new, or you may want to let others know how wonderful your neck of the woods is. In this swap, you will send your partner information, souvenirs, and other goodies from where you live. Who knows, you may inspire a trip and get to meet another Farmgirl!
Sign ups will close on May 26th when I'll assign partners. Packages should be sent out by June 5th.

Thank you so much Ruth for all the Canon City and Royal Gorge information. It was fun to reminisce of our time living 23 years in Colorado and our many visit to Canon City over the years. Canon City is an amazing city with lots of history. With all the info you sent it reminded us of all the fun we had exploring your town so we sent my husbands brothers there to sightsee on their way to visit us here in Oregon. They had a great time!
Due to a sick doggie and the brothers visit I am running late getting your package in the mail, so it will go out next week.

My parcel from Darlene arrived today - WOW!! I was showered with all sorts of exciting souvenirs and trinkets from Loleta, CA and the surrounding Redwoods. My husband & I visited the Redwoods National Park many years ago before we were married, but have now been inspired to visit again, especially now that we are back living in Oregon. We might just have to take a road trip down that way again. Thank you so much, Darlene, for all of the thoughtful additions to the parcel. I love it all!!!

Hannah's package from Indiana arrived yesterday. I love the mug, interesting teas and snacks, and the fragrant soap. We are taking the camper for a long weekend, so ill enjoy them then.
I've looked over the brochures she sent and will suggest a trip sometime- it's only about 4 hours from us. The Feast of the Hunters Moon sounds intriguing.

Vanessa, your wonderful Kentucky box arrived today! Thank you for all the goodies.The candies all look delightful, especially the bourbon balls. They are a favorite around here. Major smiles for all the Cincinnati Reds stuff too! My dad's family is all from Richmond, IN and Covington, KY, so greater Cincinnati as well. My dad is a HUGE lifelong Reds fan. They are actually my second favorite major league team behind the Red Sox. (I take after my mom's New England family. Haha!) And Cincinnati style chili is SO GOOD!!!! I grew up eating and later making plenty of it. I've never seen seasoning mixes for it though! I am excited to try them. Also liked the Derby glass and horse head pin. Very cute. Soaps and lotions are always nice, I look forward to using them. They smell lovely! Will have fun looking through the brochures you sent as well. We go to Harlan every year to visit my bestie, but we head south from Cincinnati to Lexington and down. Might have to swing a little further east sometime! Thank you again for the lovely little "trip"! :)
