Come play RICK RACK ROCKS with me. Earlier this year we did two very fun Feed Sack swaps. In researching for them I ran across a lot of information about rick rack. It’s been around even longer than feed sacks. So I thought it might be fun to play with it and see what we come up with. Y’all are so creative, I can’t wait to see your creations.
When you sign up, I will send you a marvelous PDF file. It’s a 32 page vintage book all about rick rack loaded with history, fun facts and lots of tips and ideas for things to make with rick rack.
So, here’s the skinny . . . anything goes . . . sew up something cool and trim it with rick rack. Don’t sew? No prob. There are many crafty ideas on the net if you’re friendly with glue too. I saw the cutest dang card the other day with strips of rick rack pasted on it.
Let’s have sign-up’s until August 14. I’ll celebrate the end of the dreaded Dog Days of Summer by posting partners on the 15th. Plan to send off the fruit of your labors appropriately timed for the day after Labor Day around September 1 I think. How about we dispense with extras that will increase postage. It’s getting to be awful.

Life seems very busy for everyone right now. So, let's put this swap on hold for now and resurrect it later when we're getting cabin fever and looking for things to do. So for now -- RICK RACK ROCKS IS CANCELLED.

I'm way too busy to join right now but if you do this again in the winter maybe I'll be able to join. It sounds like a lot of fun. I'll be watching to see what everyone comes up with!
