Farmgirl Connie shared information with me recently about Dotee dolls and how they were made. I went and looked at the last doll swap done here recently and thought I would like to host one. Dotee dolls are supposed to be handmade and simple so please keep that in mind. Let's do a summertime theme . I am excited to host this new project for the first time!!
Sign ups will be through July 4 and I will post partners on July 5. Please mail out to your partner on July 16.

I got re-interested in my stamp collection three years ago and discovered the ex absconded with my stamp albums so I started over again. Thank heavens my Mother's album was in a different place. My brother in law and one of DH's friends gave me their old boyhood collections so I had something to restart with. It's a fun thing to do on rainy days. Now all I need is a rainy day.

I still have my stamp albums from my grade school days. LOL! Loved collecting stamps at that time of my life.

Sherry I also meant to comment on the stamps on my dotee doll package. The county fair scene brings back so many memories from my childhood. With fall approaching, I sure hope that the state and county fairs can happen again. Especially since they were shut down last year. I just love how the four stamps together created a full scene. I didn’t know they made stamps like that!
A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.

Sherry I just received ‘Summer’ !! I am in love with her golden sun-kissed hair and her cute red gingham checked apron to work in her garden. I started singing (in my head) the 70’s song by America, ‘Sister Golden Hair’ when I read your note. :) That is what I will always think of when I look at her hanging in my craft room.

Wanda, what a great idea for a Dotee doll! I enjoyed being a Brownie and then a Girl Scout all during my childhood. Making a Dotee doll would have been a really fun troop project.

I agree and this time here I was blessed with a great roommate here who is leaving tomorrow. I gave it to her.
She said she was going to hang it up on her cork board.
