I love fabric postcards, so I thought a patriotic fabric postcard swap would be sew fun.

You can have one partner or as many as you want to make postcards for, just let me know when you sign up. They are very inexpensive to mail-let’s not do any tucks for this swap to keep postage down.

Sign-ups wil go through May 27th. Mail out will be by June 17th.

Amy! I'm just seeing this, please do not worry about me ok? I am so so sorry for the trials! It sure seems like its taking its toll on quite a few farmsisters and families! My prayers are with you!

Oh Amy, so sorry to hear of your woes. At least it's easier to do without the hot water during a hot summer than in a cold winter.

Yes I did receive your very creative postcard, Amyy. I thought I had acknowledged it, but I guess I had one of my senior moments. A most ingenious design -- thanks sew much. Will get a pix taken shortly.
hugs,
jean

P.S. - Jean, hope you received the lemon tree embroidered collage post card I sent. Our mail is pretty unreliable, but it should get there eventually. I mailed it out a while ago now... Dianna, I will try to whip something up; I've just been a bit scattered lately.
Take care!

WOW!!!!
Oh my gosh, Jean and Dianna, what a nice pop of positivity and color and creativity coming into my mailbox from you ladies!
My dad has been in the hospital with severe pneumonia, my boiler died (no hot water for a month now; new boilers weeks away) and my car died (all local garages backed up by a week or two) so it was so nice to get some fun mail that was not a bill or something stressful!!! :-)
Thank you so much!!!
Hugs,
Amy

I received the postcard from Sherry on Tuesday; I got it when I came home from vacation because the relief mailperson NEVER reads the HOLD notices that the regular mailman has posted, and my cat sitter checked the mailbox and found it there. In fact, before I left I asked the regular mailman about it and he said that they cannot get good relief people, and he has that problem all the time. He said that when he comes back from his off day he always brings any mail in the box that the relief has left back to the PO.

Then when I picked up my mail I got cards from Ida Jane, Jean, Julie, and Dianna. So I have received 5 beautiful 4th of July postcards. I love them all! This was a super swap.

Left to right - top row to bottom: Dianna, Julie, Jean, Ida Jane, Sherry

Sherry, I love your envelopes. Where did you get them?

I hope Ida Jane, Julie, Dianna, and Kathy have received the postcard I sent. They were all in envelopes.

Farmgirl hugs,
Linda

Thank you, Sherry, for the postcard. I will post a picture tomorrow. I am picking up my 2 weeks of mail from the post office tomorrow. I only got Sherry's because my cat sitter checked the mail and Sherry's came on my regular postman's day off and the relief guy NEVER follows the Hold notices. Even my regular guy said that they cannot get good relief help. I love the postcard.

That IS a great idea Julie and Diana! My question is, do they actually
survive being mailed as postcards? I may have to join this swap next time!
