What a beautiful month of April it was for us here in the south but after visiting the PNW, I see spring is slowly awakening in that area and its so beautiful there! I also got an email saying it was gardening for wildlife month!! So anything revolving around gardening and or wildlife! Sounds pretty fun to me, how about you??

Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5". Artist Trading Cards are the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards). Alternately you may choose to use a round ATC Coin of 2.5" diameter. They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaborative performance.
Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vanci Stirnemann. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. In 1997 he created 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibit. On the last day, he invited others to create their own cards and trade with him during the closing reception. The movement took off, and today, there are ATC swaps in almost every major city around the world!
You can make ATCs with many different media including paper, fabric, felt, metal, wood, clay, paint, stamps, embellishments and more. There are tons of ideas and inspiration available online if you google ATC or Artist Trading Cards.

Please forgive my tardiness Judith, I put the ATC in the mail today. I had decided when read the description what I would include on the ATC. The first copy is still m.i.a, the second one got left in the shopping cart the first time and got picked up the second time and made it home. Construction went well. Into the envelope, addressed, stamped, past the first post office and then down to the next after a pitstop at school. I hope it arrives by next Wednesday. Spring is one of my favorite 4 seasons of the year. There is so much happening.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord

Thank you Becky T. for the beautiful ATC's! No one would ever know they were your first ones! Yes! They are addictive! I have been doing them for 10 years here on Mary Jane's Swap Forum and my first ones did not look no where near as wonderful as yours!

Yes I did and thank you. But today the post office in Memphis sent me back my package to you and said it couldn’t deliver to your address!!! I mailed your package on 5/18 and I’m just now getting it back??? What’s up with that?

Wanda, yours will go out Monday. Darlene is in rehabilitation after surgery so will be late coming from her but she asked if I'd send you one also now. I'm happy to do whatever I can for her. Hope you'll like it!

So excited to receive a package today and it included these fun things from Dianna! Thank you, thank you, thank you! The ATC is so cute, hope the pic shows the little embellishments of dragonfly, butterflies and other little beauties in nature.
The little tray with the bee is so cute and I know I will love the vanilla wafers.

Hey Judith! I grew up with wisteria all my life and I wish too we could bottle the scent! I had no idea either, until I saw it in the garden center at Lowes one year!
