The stars must have been perfectly aligned because the 11th Traveling Craft Box returned home to me and the new 12th Box arrived within days of each other. I gleaned soooooo much cool stuff -- especially paper crafting supplies and oh my stars -- a huge, huge thank you to whoever put in the Machine Embroidery Event CD. It is worth it's weight in gold and I can't wait to try some of the great projects on it. After raiding both boxes, I simply combined the remains of both into one box and added a few orphan tidbits that were lurking in my "Save for Traveling Craft Boxes" stash. Anywho, No. 12 is on its way to Marie. Tracking number is 9114902200789185619893. And, I'm ready for lucky thirteen.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I have dug into the box and found some treasure. I even shared a little with my sister and a knitting friend. I'll post a picture in a bit.
Our box was already so full - there's hardly room for more stuff! We just may have to have a 13th box to kick off summer! I plan to make it to the post office tomorrow to send the box on it's way. I was able to find one of the large flat rate game board size boxes at the post office in my dad's town so I'm repacking into that. What fun!

The 11th box arrived today - It is a heavy one! My son and I are going to a school banquet tonight so I'll dig in to it tomorrow. My sister will be moving into our new house (yay!) soon so she's going to be adding some supplies to our box this weekend. I plan to mail on Monday and I'll let you all know what goodies I find and our next tracking number.

I'm impressed -- the box was delivered when the post office said it would be; maybe they are starting to return to normal too.
Have fun with the box Debbie. I'm already collecting items for the next box, too. Or the thrift shop.

Have fun, Debbie . . . tell us what you get. These traveling boxes are great fun. I've been doing a massive clean up and reorganizing in my studio and have collected a huge box of "stuff" for yet another one . . . or a big thrift store donation. LOL.

My cat loves to sit in boxes also. He also likes open drawers, clothes hampers and clothes baskets. He lies wherever he likes.

Rufus loves boxes; he just doesn't like ones that move. He will try to fit himself into any box that happens to be around. I have a picture of him trying to sit in one that is about 6 inches square.
He's never been around dogs so wouldn't know what to make of them.

I just finished typing and looked up to find that apparently Rufus doesn't want to live with us anymore and wants to go to Debbie. How do you feel about this Debbie? He is a nice cat, 14 years old, sleeps on the bed with us, however he is a grouch in the mornings and has a voice like a Siamese. If I remove a few more items I may be able to get him to fit in.

No housework is happening around here today -- the box arrived. I am having such fun going through everything and finding treasure. Next I'll find some of my goodies to fit into whatever space is left in the box. I sent DH to the post office to get a new box -- not sure if this one would hold up for another trip. Interesting tidbit-- lots of crochet hooks but no knitting needles.
