Hi farmsisters,
So happy to see changes in our weather and in nature signaling the changes of seasons to come! My favorite season is Autumn! However, September brings us yummy apples and National Honey Month!
So, since we had so much fun with vintage camping I thought we'd have some fun with a vintage honey celebration! You can use whatever medium you want and wrap your creativity around honey, bees, honeycomb, anything related to honey! I've got a cabinet full of natural raw honey from our honeybees from around our area. Its sooo yummy!
So remember to follow the guidelines below and sign ups will be until September 17th, partners assigned on the 18th and mail out is right after. Any questions just email or ask in the post here. We are all available to answer!
Happy Honey Month!! 
Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5". Artist Trading Cards are the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards). Alternately you may choose to use a round ATC Coin of 2.5" diameter. They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaborative performance.
Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vanci Stirnemann. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. In 1997 he created 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibit. On the last day, he invited others to create their own cards and trade with him during the closing reception. The movement took off, and today, there are ATC swaps in almost every major city around the world!
You can make ATCs with many different media including paper, fabric, felt, metal, wood, clay, paint, stamps, embellishments and more. There are tons of ideas and inspiration available online if you google ATC or Artist Trading Cards.

 om my goodness Jami, I finally got your ACTs WOW, you did such a wonderful job on them. And you need to give those two grand daughters a big Hug from me. I loved what they sent me I love the Beatitudes and that was just precious. I have it hanging on my wall.

Look at all my goodies that my partner and new Farmgirl friend Jean Pici sent. I love how she did the ATC, she put a match box in the middle and inside is a bee hive, just so unique. Also she sent me a bee mask which I love. Tea, card, article on bees, honey, lip balm and bee feed mix. All the tucks were so sweet.
Thank you so much Jean, I love it all and to have a new Farmgirl as my partner was great. I am enjoying getting to know you Jean.

I received the cutest Vintage Bee ATC from Kelly today. Thank you for the beautifully crafted art card, the note (she has hives) and the bee stickers - you know I will use those. Thank you, Kelly, for being my partner.

Marilyn, heck, didnt expect to cry this morning but boo hoo I did! I'm so sorry my friend! So sorry! One of the most DIFFICULT things in the world is saying goodbye to those we love!! Sending huge hugs of comfort and peace and happy that there will be a new love, not a replacement, to add to your heart!! Blessings of safe travels to you. Sen us pics!
