Debbie - your package - one of 3 swap packages I got this weekend - has really given me a pick-me-up! Our farm girl sisters are the best for raising our spirits. My husband took pictures for me and here is a picture so all can see the lovely things you sent.
I love the pumpkin pin cushion, apple themed towel, tea light candles, tea bags and book you sent.

your package arrived yesterday. I love everything. I will post a picture later today. I've been dealing with nausea from the pain drugs and haven't gotten pictures taken. The teas, kitchen towel, and candles will be in use very soon. And the pumpkin pincushion is wonderfully perfect. I may even add it to my fall bowl for decoration. I will start the book today sometime - thank you so much. Thank you so much.

I'm so glad you like the pincushion and goodies. I'm loving making those snippet ribbons and as you can tell I like using selvages in projects. It was always hard throwing away fabric scraps and the selvages make for interesting outcomes. The clips are handy and so nice you needed them. Enjoy!

Hi Ida Jane, I will be off on Friday & have more time to play with my pin cushion. I will definitely take a picture of it with my brooches. I have decided it will be on my vanity, among other treasures :-) I do love it....

I'm so glad you like it and have a use for such a monster pin cushion. I apparently used the a different yarn and needle size than was recommended, but I couldn't resist the potential giggle my swap partner would get from it. Enjoy - and send a photo with your pins and cameos displayed on it.

Thank You. I absolutely LOVE my huge sunflower pin cushion. It’s so cheerful & you’ll never guess how I’m going to use it ?
It will display some of my most cherished vintage brooches & my vintage cameos. Now to decide whether to put it on my nightstand or vanity.
Thank You also for the Chai tea, I love Chai tea & Thanks for the recipe. The Chai tea just smells so good, I keep giving it the sniff test

Cristy, Your wonderful package was in my mailbox today!! Thank-you for the beautiful pincushion, the cute tea bags tied up with a measuring tape, a really neat pattern for a sunflower wall hanging and a great pumpkin shaped cookie cutter and two cute pumpkin stickers! WOW, such fun all packed up in one package!!

I received the most adorable pin cushion from Rebecca (Beccalou) in the mail yesterday. It is a tiny tin can covered with Autumn fabrics and adorned with vintage buttons. With it were a crocheted dish cloth, two woven coasters, a package of handkerchiefs, almond & sea salt chocolate bar (how did you know?), two tea bags, the most amazing rice crispy bar, taffy candy pieces, and a book mark. Most creative of all was the use of a McCalls pattern for tissue paper. Seeing that brought back memories of sewing for myself in the past. Thank you Rebecca for your generous and thoughtful surprise package !!
