HI Jill~ USPS knocked on my door late yesterday and handed me your beautiful package!! I love your cute cloth wrapped in colors of orange and the most adorable Owl ever!! What a fun and cute bowl fillers!! I love what you made. You made a comment in your note how these swaps are all first time creations for you. Well, I must say, now that we have been swap partners twice, You first time creations are wonderful and I am lucky to have been your swap partner. Thank-you also for those adorable gift cards and card of darling buttons. I will enjoy making use of them in the days ahead.

Darlene, I love the checked hearts in the container around your lamp! My first kitty is one I bought from a crafter about 25 years ago. It is made from a quilt, an old one. When I decided to try to make some...I made a pattern by drawing around mine, allowing space to stitch and stuff. I also used pieces of old ragged quilts. Now seeing these I need to get busy and make some homespun checkered kitties and some hearts too! Thenks!

I love my kitties! There is a problem with the mail! My sister lives in Florida and she sent her neighbor a card. It took 3 weeks! Crazy!

Hi Darlene, Soooo Sorry didn’t see your post. I sent a package to my son before you & he still hasn’t received it & it says it was delivered, so I was worried the same happened to yours :-(
Just in case I made two more & had them ready to send, lol. I guess I will use them in the original way I seen them, perched in a window of a house I passed while out walking. ;-) That’s where my idea for them came from, I thought it was so cute & Pinterest didn’t disappoint. I love kitties....
Again, sorry for failing to see your post, I don’t know how I missed it.... Too many pokers in the fire....

Oh Marilyn,
I just scrolled back through the pages and see you did receive mine. The fabric is from a book of Sunbrella fabric samples. The braided fabric basket is sooo easy and quick to make. I watched a U-Tube video for the instructions and am rather hooked on making them now. I'm sure we'll meet up again down the road. Enjoy and stay cool ~~~

I received my bowl filler swap from you today, too. I love them - 4 little farm-themed pillows, a crocheted pumpkin coaster, and a bag of pumpkin seeds. I love the fabrics you used for them. I have them in my dough bowl now. I will take a picture and post in a bit.
I'm glad you like the flower and bird in a nest for your bowl. I hope the lights ca add a soft glow for ambiance. LOL!
