I am so glad that you like the windsock. I hope the two "tools" hanging in the middle didn't get too tangled up in the box. You may need to untangle them until the wind gets them again. LOL! I found the tools at the Dollar Tree store in the toy department and just knew I had the fabric at home and what the windsock theme would be. LOL! I have had that fabric for a while, and one very similar with a white background.
Yes, I have used the "Rattle OK" on a box many times. That chain rattled so I didn't want the PO to say I couldn't send it.
So happy to be your partner. ENJOY!

Posted - Aug 14 2020 : 12:44:40 PM Linda!!! I received your package and let me tell you, it was so much fun even before I opened it! I picked it up and heard a bit of a racket from inside and thought, oh no something has broken! And no sooner did I finish that thought than I saw your notice on the label, "Rattle Ok!" I laughed so much at that! I told my kids, this is one experienced shipper!! But the real fun was inside, of course. I just LOVE the windsock you made! The kitchen appliance themed fabric is incredible, I've never seen one like it, and the tools hanging, are they toys? They go with the fabric so perfectly I wouldn't be surprised if they were meant to go together! My photos don't really do the whole thing any justice. I also love the chain you used for the hanger and the hardware at each streamer; this will surely stand up to many hearty breezes! Thank you also for the wonderful gifts you included. Lemon Verbena is my all time favorite soap fragrance (I'll probably walk around with this bar in front of my nose for at least a day!), and the snippet ribbon is adorable! More inspiration for the autumn ribbon swap (that's coming up soon!). The button bracelet, friendship bracelets and note pad are going to be put to very good use, that is certain! Thank you again for your lovely gifts and sweet note (I'm 52 and my kids are 24 and 22, no grandkids just yet!). Stay well and enjoy the weekend ahead!

Posted - Aug 14 2020 : 05:28:54 AM I have to share this with you all. Rebecca tucked this in my swap & I have been so taken with it. It just makes me smile & so while sitting at my vanity, putting my face on to face the world an idea came to me, how I can have this ray of sunshine with me at all times, a mirror of course..... PS: I Have Rebecca’s permission to share her work of art.

Posted - Aug 11 2020 : 8:10:56 PM Marilyn, Your package arrived a day early!!! Yeah for the USPS !! Your second trip to the post office paid off. The windsock is so cute and vintage. I love how you used so many different materials for the streamers and the embroidered dresser scarf - too precious to hang outside. The buttons make it so interesting and the extra buttons appreciated. Even if I don't add them to the streamers - how can you have too many buttons? My husband already confiscated the cloths for his bar towels. I will surely enjoy the windsock hanging on my pergola dancing in the wind.

Posted - Aug 11 2020 : 3:30:25 PM Connie I checked The tracking on yours this morning, it shows it left Louisville Kentucky on the 7th and all it says now is in transit and arriving late. Grrrr why do we pay for priority postage if this is going to happen. Hopefully it finds it way to you soon.
