It took me back to our local fourth of July parades, with little ones gathering up candies tossed from floats, flags everywhere. TexasGran	Posted - May 16 2020 : 11:17:22 AM Marie have you ever made homemade Butterfinger icecream? It is to die for, it is so good! Long ago, we had our end of the school year luncheon. Our school nurse invited us out to her new home on the river. After the home tour, and eating from the dishes that everyone brought...my Principal brought out the freezer of ice cream his wife had made for us to enjoy! When he removed the lid...I asked, "what are those brown speckles," and he said "butterfinger bits" . Now butterfingers were my favorite candy and I was served up the very first bowl...oh my.It was so yummy. So all it is is a freezer of vanilla ice cream with several big ( or a bag of little butterfingers that you have smashed) mixed in. I just put the candies, minus the wrappers into a freezer bag and beat it with a rolling pen. TexasGran #6389 Let God's light shine through you every day.
