Posted - Feb 15 2020 : 07:54:14 AM "Top of the Morning" to you lassies. Are you a lover of all things Irish and green when St. Paddy's Day gets closer? Do you look for the pot of gold at the end of each rainbow you see? Are Irish Blessings shared when you give a toast and do you keep a 4-leaf clover in your pocket for luck. Do you have a wee bit of Irish blood running through your veins?
If you answered yes to anyone of these questions, this swap might be for you.
We are having a Saint Patrick's Day swap and here are the criteria. You must mail at least 3 green items to your partner. Besides the green items You must include: A Shamrock-made in any medium you choose An Irish Blessing Something gold colored to add to your own pot of gold should you find the end of your rainbow.
The shamrock can be one of your green items. There are some great ideas on Pinterest for this swap.
Sign-ups will go through February 27th. Mail out is no later than March 7th.
We have an odd number for this swap so partners are done on round robin, so you will send to one farmgirl and get a package from another. Patsy, I received the lucky box of green and gold you sent. Thank you for the handmade card, crocheted cloth, the Irish blessing you artfully made, the leprechaun socks, gold coins, shamrock earrings, green sketch pencils, and the ribbon used to tie everything in green paper. I love it all! Wishing you a lucky St. Patrick's Day! Don't get pinched!

Posted - Mar 12 2020 : 1:58:23 PM Krista, I am so pleased that you enjoyed your little St. Patty's Day bag of handmades. Last year, I got myself one of those child looms and have had the best time making potholders for many swaps. It is fun to try and coordinate colors in the hotbeds with the other things. Plus, I love those hotbeds because they are thick, easy to use, and so washable. They are thick enough to be a small trivit for something very hot. Hopefully those golden coins will bring everyone good luck!

Posted - Mar 11 2020 : 4:09:08 PM I received my wonderful package from Winnie! Thank you so very much. I absolutely love the hand towel and hot pad. When I was younger I had a kit that would make loom hot pads. I would spend hours making them! So that brought back memories. I shared the chocolate money with my kids. And the cute little cinch bag is going to be used for my bracelets. I don’t have many and this would be a perfect way to keep them all together! Thank you thank you!

Posted - Mar 10 2020 : 06:44:29 AM Omgosh, totally relate Kelly! Lol, not tired from grandkids, but wow they can drain you even tho thy are a hoot and a half! I spent the day shoveling and distributing manure in the garden! I'm exhausted too but really, I believe it's the time change! My sweet young physical therapist is 28 and was exhausted yesterday too. Full moon and time change! We will blame it on that!!:)
