Hey there Farmsisters!!!
I was recently going through some paperwork of mine and came across some love letters from my dad to my mom. I took a break from cleaning, teary eyed and thankful that I still had them and these were safe in my care. I began to read over some of my special letters from dear friends around the world and by the end of my lengthy break, my heart was so filled with warm thankfulness and love!
How about you? Do you re-read letters you've gotten through the years and do they warm your soul? Are you a letter writer or card sender?? Are there friends and family you STILL keep up with by snail mail?
Hand written letters are becoming a lost art, yet,
I think we can all say that we enjoy a hand written letter
delivered to us in our mail box now and then, don't we?
I actually enjoy writing personal words to others either
in a card or on pretty stationary, which is hard to find these days.

SO, how about a stationary swap? A AUTUMNAL/fall swap? I FEEL it in the air despite our 90' temps! We would be assigned ONE partner, make-create 6 pieces of stationary ( matching envelopes optionally) and swap these with our assigned partner AS WELL as penning a sweet letter about yourself and what the Autumn season means to you!
ALL varieties of materials can be used to create these 6 pieces of stationary; paint, ink, collage, drawings, deco, mixed media, etc! Let's keep it in the fall color spirit of things!!
IF by chance you don't have time to CREATE your stationary but you'd like to participate, if you have some beautiful sheets you'd like to share, I am SURE none of us would mind!! :)
So, 6 sheets of handmade or decorative stationary with envelopes (matching optional). Last day to sign up would be October 28th, partners assigned Oct. 29th, mail off Oct. 30th. Have fun and thank you for joining in!

Marilyn, I really enjoyed my stationary that came in the mail today. I loved the onion skin paper - decorated so prettily. Thank you very much. I loved the history lesson that you gave me as well. It's very special and I will treasure it. It will be hard to use!

Ih my Dear Sweet Dianna, I am just so sorry I have not posted sooner that I received your lovely stationery, little cinnamon broom and your most welcome letter..
I do hope you will forgive me I have just been so busy packing and doctor appointments that I am just sorry overwhelmed. Then Kent leaves Friday for Illinois to be with family and get to a lower altitude. I hope it will make him feel better. Please know I would never intentionally forget to post Farmgirl mail as I love getting mail so much. Please have a wonderful week.
P.S, My guys got to my goldfish before I did, they said to thank you:-)

Debbie, you are amazing! Despite all you are going through right now you spoiled me with this swap! Thank you so much for the horses and fall stationary( which I'll gladly use) but also the hanging acorn, the comfy socks and yummy coffee drink mix!! Sara already made herself one! Lol! I'm sure I'll enjoy the book on those rainy days when its quiet here! Ty so very very much!!!

 Hi Laurie, I received my stationary today and loved it! Thank you! Love the patchwork feel of the fabric in each piece with matching envelope and the pink pen! I will definately put it to.use before fall escapes us!
