Posted - Jan 19 2019 : 08:10:01 AM I have been making a few heart shaped dishcloths to go in Valentines packages and thought a swap would be fun to send some love to a farmgirl in the mail. Either a pretty Valentine color or shape will work.

Sign-ups will go through February 1. Mail out will be by February 7. Who wants to join me in sending a smile.

Posted - Feb 20 2019 : 11:10:26 AM You Tube is my second favorite website. I have learned so much stuff there from making salsa to changing my turn signal light that burnt out. I think I may make more of this pattern for a set of drivers, but once again the hardest part is deciding which colors to use.

It is called a sailors knot dishcloth and I found the pattern on you tube. You make each piece separate then weave together and stitch in place. It was real easy. Hard part was deciding which colors for which piece. If the link doesn't work you can search for sailor knot dishcloth. The example was white, peach and turquoise. Glad you liked it.
I am the same way. I haven't used any of the dishclothes I received in swaps for cleaning. I want to display them in my craft room when I get settled in my new place soon. I may display them in my country kitchen too by season. ;)
Ps (There are two videos. The second should follow the first)

Posted - Feb 18 2019 : 11:33:46 AM Hi Nancy~ I love my Dishcloth , trivet, doily what have you . It is so pretty. Like most others it will not be used as a dishcloth as it is too pretty. Love the chocolates too. I love the pattern you used and would love to try it, is it a perso pattern or did you get it on Ravelry or a book. What is the name of the pattern? Thank you again, I enjoyed being your partner. Have fun unpacking all your boxes. Thank you Julie for hostessing for us

Posted - Feb 15 2019 : 5:33:38 PM Hi Debbie, Decided to take a break from packing and sorting thirty years of living in this house and tell you thank you for the lovely dishcloth and other gifts. I noticed the heart symbol straight away. I also received your sweet card. I am sorry the Lindor candy didn't make it into the picture. It is Hubby and mine favorite and was enjoyed greatly. Hope everyone had a great Valentine Day. Hubby and I went out to the Golden Corral Buffet, yum!
